On April 21, the room was full as our community gathered to hear Dr. Emily Rogalski share insights from the SuperAging Research Initiative on protective factors to promote healthy aging.

Aging well isn't just about avoiding decline - it's about staying connected, engaged and purposeful.

We heard how SuperAgers tend to share a few common traits:

• Meaningful social connection

• Continued curiosity and learning

• A sense of purpose

• Active engagement with life

Join us for a social outing, an educational program or a volunteer opportunity and stay in touch with Bacoa as we explore ways to build these traits into our lives and our community.

New Format & Location

Guilt. Anger. Happiness. Relief. Love. Loneliness.

The emotions that fill a caregiver on any given day can be as overwhelming as the disease their loved one has.

You First is a safe space for caregivers to honor all the emotions before we try to talk ourselves out of them or bury them forever.

RSVP or for any questions, call Pam Pellizzari at (847) 381-5030
