Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors guides the organization’s work in the community. The group comprises a diverse mix of corporate leaders and community volunteers, all with a passion for helping older adults and those who care for them.

Members oversee the management of the organization in a manner that fosters its health and vitality. Grants, donations, and fundraising are at the forefront of the board’s fiduciary responsibilities. Together, the board identifies opportunities that allow us to meet the needs of our ever-growing population of adults.

Board work is guided by the organization’s mission, vision, and strategic priorities.

A Message from Our Board President

“At Bacoa, programming was paused momentarily at the onset of the pandemic, but our committed staff members quickly rerouted to the wonderful world of staying connected and keeping each other engaged and informed through virtual technology. Instead of decreasing attendance, we saw increases in many of our programs.

The emotional and social programming of Bacoa has never been stronger and the outreach has never been better. We always adapt to the needs of our clients, and now offer virtual and in-person programs to ensure everyone who wants to join has a seamless way to stay engaged.”
