Cuisine Club

Enjoy lunch with friends at local restaurants for a set price. The group meets at noon once a month. The cost for lunches includes beverage, gratuity, and tax.

Movie Maniacs

Watch the hottest releases with fellow movie lovers. Movie Maniacs meets the first Thursday of the month at a local theater. Movie choice is determined on the Monday before. Requests are welcomed. Times and prices vary.

Never Idle Hands Knitting & Crochet Club

Knit or crochet your next textile creation while socializing with friends. All skill levels are welcome, including beginners.

The Outsiders Walking Club

Hit the trail for a leisurely walk and talk with friends in beautiful nature. Bacoa’s Outsiders Trail Walking Club meets at local parks throughout the spring, summer, and fall, weather permitting.

Other Ways to Connect

Bacoa’s Alzheimer’s Support Group provides resources for families and caregivers of people living with any type or stage of dementia. This unique support group offers a judgment-free space to discuss the daily triumphs and struggles of caring for someone with a dementia diagnosis.

Join us for the next Alzheimer’s Support Group meeting.  

This small group forum offers expert advice, educational materials, and sharing of local care referral sources. The Alzheimer’s Support Group meets on the second Wednesday every month from 10:30 am – noon.

This group is currently meeting via Zoom.

There is no charge for this program, but registration is required.

Because of COVID-19 safety concerns, Bacoa is offering online programs that can be accessed from home using the video conferencing platform Zoom.

You can join these free virtual programs three ways:

  • Computer (video and sound)
  • Smartphone (video and sound)
  • Regular phone (sound only)
