“When I’m 64”

In this 3-part series, Bacoa will provide attendees with the tools needed to navigate one’s Medicare plan.  The workshop will cover Medicare basics, supplements, and Advantage plans, and Medicare prescription drug plans.  This series is offered three times a year.

Law Talk

Stay prepared and informed with Law Talk from Bacoa. This quarterly series addresses practical law topics like estate planning, protecting your identity, and older adult care.

Rules of the Road

Brush up on your driving skills before renewing your driver’s license. This class, led by an instructor from the Secretary of State’s office, prepares one to take the Illinois driving tests.

Transportation Education

Learn how older adults and people with disabilities can save money on public transportation, and how to make sure your trip on public transit is accessible. Bacoa works with the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) to share accessible public transportation options and tips for traveling independently.

Bacoa offers online programs that can be accessed from home using the video conferencing platform Zoom.
